Difference Between Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning And Deep Learning

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are two very popular terms right now and they are often used interchangeably, so are Machine Learning and Deep Learning. All of these terms often come up when there is a discussion about data mining or the future of technology and where it will lead the world.
Artificial Intelligence is the concept where machines are able to mimic human intelligence using logic and carry out tasks which can be deemed as smart.
Artificial Intelligence is nowadays in almost every piece of technology you use in some form or other. Be it your car, modern vacuum cleaners or the gadget you are reading this particular blog on.

Machine Learning is an application of AI which enables machines to use algorithms to collect data and learn from it and improve themselves.
Machine Learning is what is used in making most of these AI-powered machines. One of the major uses of this technology is the ads you see when you access any websites. Companies such as Google, Facebook, Twitter etc., gather your data and use sophisticated algorithms to learn your browsing pattern and then decide what set of ads to show you.

Deep Learning is a part of machine learning using Artificial Neural Networks and using the connections between those neurons on different layers.
Some of the most advanced computer programs which have outmatched human intelligence are made using this particular method. Examples include programs made by Google's DeepMind project that made Alpha one(for chess), Alpha go and Alpha go zero for the game of go which best world champions.

If we make a Venn Diagram of these three aspects of technology Artificial Intelligence consists of Machine Learning and that in turn contains Deep Learning.
